I actually prefer using a Sharpie over a pen or pencil when concepting wireframes. Sometimes I&#039;ll lightly do sketches with pencil but always finish it with a Sharpie! 

There&#039;s just something about it that makes it seem more authoritative. 

I also find clients that look at wireframes using a Sharpie make less changes than sketches with pencil. Maybe it&#039;s the Sharpie&#039;s permanency that fires off some synapse in their minds that says, &quot;It can&#039;t be changed&quot;. :)</description>
